Why do trace minerals matter?

As New Zealand soils are frequently out of kilter, correcting the balance of minor elements is crucial to overall performance. Otherwise fertilising becomes like feeding your soil meat and potatoes without the nutritional value of vegetables. Each trace element serves a specific purpose in adding to the health and wellbeing of your soil, and subsequently your plants and stock.

Trace minerals are added to your custom blended fertiliser mix and applied as groundspread, or aerial spread. The amounts are often very small indeed and it is really important not to add more than the recommended amount. They can be toxic.
